- Water: 0.5 liters (ratio 1:10, one unit of coffee to 10 units of water by weight)
The execution steps
Making Cold Brew is also very simple. You just need to follow these steps:
Step 1:
Pour half of the prepared coffee grounds into the glass jar. Next, pour about 250 ml of water inside. Use a spoon to stir the coffee grounds evenly with water.

You can enjoy a pure Cold Brew or add sugar and milk according to your preference. To fully appreciate the natural delicious flavor of this coffee, it's best to drink it pure or with ice. This way, you can fully experience the unique taste of this cold coffee.
Notes for brewing Cold Brew to make a delicious cup:
Coffee extraction ratio
Typically, the ratio of coffee to water is around 1:10 or 1:15. However, depending on the type of coffee you choose, the water ratio and steeping time may vary.
Coffee Beans
The prerequisite for coffee beans used in brewing is their purity, hence Specialty Coffee beans are preferred. The coffee grounds should not be treated or mixed with any other substances. Additionally, the coffee must be roasted to a moderate level. The color of the coffee should not be too dark, nor should there be too much fine powder. Ideally, for Cold Brew coffee, freshly ground beans are used, resembling coarse salt grains.
How to Store Cold Brew Coffee After Brewing
Although Cold Brew coffee can be stored well in the refrigerator for up to a month after brewing, it's best to consume it within 3 to 5 days to preserve its nutritional content. Ideally, enjoy it immediately after brewing to experience its freshness and enticing aroma fully. Therefore, to avoid storing coffee for too long, it's recommended to brew only the amount you intend to consume within 3 to 4 days, which is most suitable.
How to Enjoy Cold Brew Coffee
There are many different ways to enjoy Cold Brew that you can choose from. If you're a purist, you can drink it right after it's brewed. If you prefer your drinks less bitter, you might want to add a bit of sugar or milk.
